Diego Caballero

Game and software developer

About me

My name is Diego Caballero, I am 20 years old and I am studying Game Development at Universidad Complutense in Madrid, Spain. I have been making games since 2022, mostly focusing on small Game Jams and university projects, with some experimentation on my own. I may not have a lot of experience but I can get things done while having zero issues admitting my mistakes and learning from them.

My skillset

Soft skills

Problem solving, creating documentation, teamwork and communication are some of my biggest strengths.

Software

I have a lot of experience with C#, C++ and Lua. Unity, Godot, SDL and Love2D are my engines/frameworks of choice for most of my projects, but I have some knowledge on OpenGL, Raylib and Phaser, with some JavaScript, HTML and CSS here and there. I am quite versed in git as well.

Outside software

I speak English and Spanish and I have written theater scripts in both languages. I can use that experience to write and translate dialogs, lore or descriptions for a project
